October 3 marks final performance of LA Opera’s gripping Pagliacci

This Saturday, Ana María Martínez takes the stage as Nedda in LA Opera’s production of Leoncavallo’s Pagliacci. Celebrated for her “foreboding yet achingly beautiful” (Bachtrack) delivery of Canio’s faithless wife, the Grammy-winning soprano stars in the final performance alongside Yusif Eyvazov, George Gagnidze, Liam Bonner, and Brenton Ryan.

Ana María’s “flexible, soaring soprano voice” (Daily News) can be heard in Pagliacci on October 3rd at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion.
