Ana María Martínez returns to Glyndebourne for Poliuto

Ana María Martínez begins the summer season as Paolina in the highly anticipated UK premiere of Donizetti’s seldom performed Poliuto, which opens the Glyndebourne Festival this year. The Grammy-winning soprano returns to Glyndebourne after an acclaimed performance as the title role in Dvorak’s Rusalka in 2009.

Mariame Clément directs and Enrique Mazzola conducts the production, which runs May 21 to July 15 and also stars Michael Fabiano, Igor Golovatenko, Matthew Rose, Timothy Robinson and Emanuele D’Aguanno.
