‘Don Giovanni’ at The Met

This spring, Ana María Martínez will be taking on the role of Donna Elvira in a new production of Don Giovanni at The Metropolitan Opera, directed by the Tony Award-winning director, Ivo Van Hove.

Joining her in the world-class cast are Peter Mattei as the titular character, Adam Plachetka as Leporello, Federica Lombardi as Donna Anna, Ying Fang as Zerlina, Ben Bliss as Don Ottavio, Alfred Walker as Masetto, and Alexander Tsymbalyuk as Commendatore. The conducting duties will be handled by the esteemed Maestra Nathalie Stutzmann.

The scheduled performances are set to take place on May 5, 9, 12, 16, 20, 24, 27, and June 2. Additionally, there will be a Live in HD broadcast to cinemas worldwide on May 20.
